Account Manager – Audio Visual Sales

Are you a passionate and driven individual looking to join an exciting opportunity to work as an Account Manager? If so, join our team! Responsibilities will include working at initiating, developing and maintaining sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for building a positive and ongoing relationship with new and existing clients.

As a part of our team, you will be working closely with Senior Management, Engineering, Design and the Project Team to ensure client requirements are met. You will be responsible for all sales development such as cold calling, networking and introducing sales and marketing initiatives. You will also be responsible for providing sales forecasts, training and presentations and ensuring that all projects and sales opportunities are profitable.

 

Position Details:

  • Liaise with internal team members such as Project Managers, Designers, Programmers, and other members throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Business development and lead generation through networking, attending events, cold calling, etc.
  • Manage existing client relationships while creating new ones
  • Preparing and creating quotations for clients
  • Follow up on client requests in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain professional vendor relationships
  • Visiting client locations within the GTA
  • Managing and organizing all opportunities in our CRM software

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 year B2B sales experience
  • We require a candidate that is independent and requires little direction. Must be detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
  • Experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry
  • Knowledge of Polycom, Cisco, Crestron, Extron systems and products.
  • Knowledge of Professional Audio systems (Biamp, QSC, etc.)
  • Experience working with CRM and quoting software

 

Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

As Inside Sales Support you will work closely with both the Inside Sales Team and Account Managers, to manage the sales and quotation process and provide support to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team. This opportunity involves interfacing with employees in other departments and locations while being a part of a dynamic sales driven environment. To be successful, you will be adept at multi-tasking, organized, detail-oriented, and flexible enough to deal with ever-changing deadlines. You must be self-driven with a desire for growth, and posses the ability to create opportunities out of cold or warm leads. You will be dealing with IT Mangers, Directors, and C-Level Executives, and be in constant communication via email, phone, or in-person when required.

Position Details:

Senior AV Support Engineer

Overview:

Global Unified Solutions is a national AV integrator, specializing in educational, corporate and hospitality sector.   We are currently looking for a Senior AV Support Engineer to join our team. Majority of the work would be performed in GTA and Southern Ontario and much of it requires remote support of existing jobs.

Successful applicant will also be provided additional relevant manufacturer’s training as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Remote Troubleshooting of existing installations through Remote Computers installed on site using Crestron Software
  • Creating entry logs, keeping track of hours spent
  • Initiating RMA requests, liaising with manufacturer’s Tech support
  • If required, travel to sites to troubleshoot issues in person and perform equipment maintenance
  • Commissioning completed systems
  • Crestron Programming of systems (depending on experience)
  • End User Training
  • Manual creation

 

Description of skills required:

  • Ability to remotely asses and troubleshoot issues using TeamViewer or other VNC Client
  • Proficient in Crestron programming and / or debugging
  • Excellent knowledge of Audio in corporate environments for conference applications, live events
  • Knowledge of RF technologies and proper setup of wireless devices (Microphones etc.)
  • Strong DSP configuration/programming skills (Biamp and QSC preferred)
  • Ability to tune the System for optimal performance, commission Audio using proper techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of Digital video, understanding of EDID, HDCP content management, scaling
  • Knowledge and experience with Video Calibration – Video walls, Projectors etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking as it pertains to AV
  • Knowledge and experience in setting up Dante, AVB, Video over IP and control networks

Crestron Programmer

Global Unified Solutions is a national AV integrator, specializing in educational, corporate and hospitality sector.   We are currently looking for a Crestron Programmer to join our team. Majority of the work would be performed in GTA and Southern Ontario and much of it requires remote support of existing jobs.

Successful applicant will also be provided additional relevant manufacturer’s training as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Design department and client stakeholders in understanding and developing User interface using VT Pro
  • Developing and testing code written in Simpl Windows to match the requirements stated
  • Setting up Managed Network Switches and routers
  • Creating DSP files for Biamp Tesira and QSC (If required training would be provided)
  • Traveling to sites to deploy, configure and debug the code and troubleshoot issues in person
  • Creating and managing IP Tables and any relevant documentation
  • Creating System Manuals
  • End User Training
  • Providing Support (Remotely or in person) to end users or Technicians on site

Description of skills required:

Audio Visual Installation Technician

Overview:

Global Unified Solutions is a national AV integrator, specializing in educational, corporate and hospitality sector.   We are currently looking for an Audio Visual Installation Technician to join our team. Majority of the work would be performed in GTA and Southern Ontario but there is a possibility of Travel within Canada.

Succesful applicant will also be provided additional relevant manufacturer’s training as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrating AV systems in educational, corporate and hospitality sectors in a quick and efficient manner conforming to standards set by Global PS Team.
  • Low-voltage termination of cabling, soldering, structural mounting, cable pulling, software configuration, and system commissioning;
  • Working with the client and other trades onsite, performing site visits to determine challenges and reporting back to the PS Team.
  • Following system CAD schematics and keeping a record of changes while on site.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the crew.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment and perform service and maintenance visits
  • Maintaining a professional approach while on site and in the shop.

Qualifications :

  • 2 plus years of experience in AV systems integration
  • Infocomm CTS Certified and any other manufacturers certifications (Crestron, Extron, Biamp etc.) preferred.
  • Strong video signal termination, crimping, and soldering skills.
  • Strong understanding of signal separation, ability to dress the rack properly
  • Experience with Structural mounting of Screens, Projectors and speakers
  • Good understanding of Audio, Video and Control wiring and connections
  • Following AV Best Practices as outlined by Infocomm guides
  • Ability to install, operate and service AV equipment and AV Networked Systems
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lb
  • Working at Heights, and Aerial Platform certificates are preferred (training would be provided if required)
  • Clean Driver’s abstract
  • Must be able to read and comprehend System drawings, specifications and technical manuals
  • Must be able to configure and set up equipment (training would be provided if required)
  • Understanding of EDID, HDCP and Digital video environments
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Duties:

  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Perform clerical duties in order to maintain administration
  • Maintain a current and accurate filing system
  • Monitor the use of supplies and equipment
  • Ensure Reception area is clean of clutter and presentable at all times
  • Perform receptionist functions
  • Answer all incoming calls, handle caller’s inquiries and research whenever possible
  • Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
